NEW MERCH/DOWNFALL AVAILABLE!!!!!
We had this up for about two seconds on myspace, but were told it was against their policy to directly link merch sales to their web site, and our site could get deleted as a result. We're working on getting the look and feel of this site to match the record, and will include an updated store, but, for now I will just put this in the news section.
Also, please be aware that we may be giving all or a portion of Downfall away for free at a future date in an effort to spread the word more quickly....we don't want people to get angry for buying something and then see others getting it for free.
The cd is a piece of art itself, and we will sign the first 100, so, we are hoping that people who still appreciate a higher level of audio quality, like to hold a cd in their hands, or just plain want to help us make some money, will buy and appreciate a cd vs. the digital medium.

Q101 Block Party September 14th!!!!
We are totally stoked to be part of Q101's Block Party on the DeVry campus at Western & Roscoe in Chicago this year. Out of thousands of local bands here, we were one of a handful chosen to play the local stage. We will be in the presence of some monstrous bands, including Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet for My Valentine and many others. Tickets are available on q101.com. We'll be going on from 3:40-4:00 PM sharp, then signing flyers, and taking pictures with folks from 5:30-6:30 PM. This is a huge stepping stone for us, and we would like to thank Q101 again for all of their support!!!!
Matt will be on the Q101 local show at 10PM this Sunday, September 7th with Chris Payne, talking about the upcoming album, the band, and just catching up in general. Please don't miss it!!!!

HM in Chicago Scene Magazine
In between all the high rollers, pretty people, expensive wine and fancy cars in the September issue of Chicago Scene Magazine sits a brilliantly-written three page article written about your favorite band, Holding Mercury. Matt & Jason Jam with Eddie Vedder!!!!
In a bizarre turn of events, Matt & Jason got to jam with one of the all-time greats, Mr. Eddie Vedder last night at Stanley's.....
Thanks to some well-connected friends, Matt and Jason got to hang in the basement of Stanley's late night with some exclusive guests that included John Cusack, Chris Chelios of the Detroit Red Wings who brought the effing Stanley Cup!!!, our friend Kevin Manno from Q101, and, of course, Mr. Vedder.
After many beers and a little ribbing, Jason and I got Eddie to do what he does best, unplugged, like it was friends jamming on their front porch. Knowing his fav's, we played some Who and Neil Young, and neither Jason and I could stop grinning for hours afterward...truly a night to remember!
